Now in Grade 10, the Class of 2016 is starting to understand what it really means to be a high school student. It means hard work and diligence! They peer into basic science in Biology class, learning about life from cells on up. Most 10th graders take either Algebra 1 or Geometry for math. English 10 emphasizes grammar and writing, while introducing students to Shakespeare. Health class helps them understand nutrition and non-communicable diseases. In Pacific Studies, they explore the past and how it shapes the present. Japanese language class opens their minds to a rich new culture. They manage to pack all this into a single day, while surrounded by helpful friends and supportive teachers.
